The health and safety of our community is a top priority for United Way of South Sarasota County. We need your support now more than ever to help us serve those who will be impacted the worst by COVID-19.
You may have questions about how you can help. Here are three ways you can pitch in and make a difference in someone's life.
We need your support to keep our community healthy. The citizens who rely on United Way funded services are the same ones who will likely be affected most by this pandemic. Families who are Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed (or ALICE) are the core of who we serve.
These families live paycheck to paycheck and often are not able to make ends meet, despite holding a job or two. With some businesses closing, many of the heads of the ALICE households will have to take unpaid time off of work, be laid off, or will not be able to provide childcare while schools are closed.
A gift of just $5 or more can help us keep these programs open and even expand services as the need in our community grows. If you have the capacity to give please consider making a donation today. DONATE NOW
