Community Engagement Luncheon: Celebrating the Success Stories of South Sarasota

The United Way of South Sarasota County’s Annual Community Engagement Luncheon will take place on March 26, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice, FL. This event brings together community leaders, volunteers, and organizations to celebrate progress, share impactful stories, and inspire further change.

By attending or becoming a sponsor, you will directly support efforts that help our community rebuild, recover, and thrive. Over the past year, local organizations and volunteers have tackled some of the most pressing challenges in Sarasota County, including food insecurity, access to healthcare, and workforce development. This luncheon is an opportunity to recognize these efforts, highlight key achievements, and reinforce the importance of working together to create lasting solutions.

At United Way, volunteers and community members come together every day to make a difference by improving health, education, and financial stability for individuals and families. From preschool programs and financial literacy initiatives to assistance for the elderly, these programs help restore hope and build stronger futures. As we look ahead, we also reflect on past experiences that demonstrate the power of collaboration in overcoming obstacles and driving meaningful change. However, there is still work to be done, and community support remains essential in continuing this mission.
