Community Engagement Luncheon: Celebrating the Success Stories of South Sarasota
At the United Way of South Sarasota County, volunteers come together every day to make a lasting impact in our community. We join forces to improve the health, education, and financial stability of our neighbors in Sarasota County. From preschool programs to financial literacy initiatives and assistance for the elderly, the United Way makes a difference in the lives of many families by reaching out, restoring hope, and rebuilding lives.
Our charitable events culminate in an annual community engagement luncheon to celebrate both small successes and larger contributions while envisioning an even brighter future. This year’s luncheon will take place on March 26, 2025, at Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice, FL, beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. By attending or becoming a sponsor for this event, you’ll directly support foundational efforts that help our community rebuild, recover, and thrive.
The luncheon serves as a platform to highlight the community’s achievements. Over the past year, local organizations and volunteers have come together to tackle some of our most pressing challenges, including food insecurity, lack of access to healthcare, and workforce development. This luncheon allows us to showcase these milestones, share their impact, and inspire further change as we move forward. Stories of hope, restoration, and resilience emerge, reminding us that when we stand united, we create a lasting difference.
As we look to the future, we also reflect on past experiences that demonstrate the power of coming together to solve problems and create meaningful change. However, there is still work to be done, and we need your support to continue this important mission.
